In one of their final acts as Natchez-Adams School District students, members of the Class of 2022 took part Sunday in a Baccalaureate Ceremony. The baccalaureate is a religious service for the graduating class, and precedes the graduation ceremony, which will take place Friday, May 27. During the service, Natchez High Senior Class President Je'Miyah Bailey read the scripture. Samaria Spears, Natchez Early College senior class secretary, did the welcome address. Niyah Jones, Natchez Early College class president introduced Dr. Tiffany M. Lloyd as guest speaker for the morning. Natchez High School Choir performed two selections under the direction of Travanti Hill and Cory Ramsey. During a heartfelt rose presentation each graduate received a long stemmed rose to present to tearful parents.
