It has been a year like no other in education and one that will certainly go down in history. Without an official Teacher of the Year celebration in 2020 with the initial spread of the coronavirus, Natchez-Adams School District honored and recognized both its teacher of the year and administrator of the year for 2020.
Tony Fields, District Public Engagement Coordinator expressed gratitude to both honorees for their dedication and service. LaTanya Davis, Robert Lewis Magnet School Principal, was named 2020 District Administrator of the Year. Dr. Althea Stewart was named Natchez High School’s 2020 Teacher of the Year and Natchez-Adams School District’s Teacher of the Year. Each honoree was presented a plaque and a monetary gift courtesy of Kimbrell Office Supply.
