First Nine Weeks Honor Roll scholars were invited to an 'Honor's Breakfast' to celebrate their success for maintaining an exemplary academic status during the First Nine Weeks. Breakfast consisted of sausage and biscuits, grits, assorted pastries, and juice. During the breakfast, scholars were presented with a certificate and honor roll bracelets--with one bracelet serving as admission to basketball games at Natchez High School thanks to a partnership established by Superintendent Butcher and Principal Jackson from Natchez High School.
The Honor's Breakfast was hosted by Monica King, school guidance counselor. Assisting were Eddie Smith, Kenneth Evans, Carlotta Gray, and Muriel McCoy.
