Revels has been employed in the District as Assistant Principal at Natchez High School since August 2017. This is his 17th year as a public-school educator.
Revels earned his B.S., Health Science degree from Alcorn State University, May 2000; an M.S. degree Secondary Education with an Endorsement in Guidance Education from Alcorn State University, May 2003; an Education Leadership Alternate Route Certification from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in December 2012, and a Doctor of Professional Counseling from Mississippi College in May 2020.
Before joining the Bulldogs, Revels was employed by the Madison Parish School District where he served in the following capacities: High School SPED and Biology Teacher, Middle and High School Guidance Counselor, and Middle and High School Assistant Principal and Principal.
“I believe in student individuality and the unique paths of learning. My philosophy on education is centered on students’ success. As an instructional leader, I believe it is my responsibility to ensure every student is afforded an environment that will foster maximum learning and cultivate each student’s individual needs” said Revels.
In his new role, Revels says he is excited about the opportunity to develop a school-wide vision of commitment to high expectations while ensuring each student is successful.
