With a few finishing touches of construction still underway, the Natchez-Adams School District Board meeting will be held at 4 p.m. today at the site of the new mobile unit on the grounds of Co-Lin Natchez campus.
Once each mobile unit had been set in place, Interim Supervisor of Maintenance, Larry Brown started designing and constructing the ramps last year in October. Brown and an assistant, Michael Jones, spent the past few months constructing decks and ramps. The new addition consist of a multi-purpose building to be used as the cafeteria, computer lab, and assembly hall and 4 classrooms. "Students will be fed in a faster time frame which will allow for more instructional time," said Larnell Ford, District Operations Manager. "The new buildings will allow our district to conform to federal guidelines such as providing adequate handicap accessibility."
