Currently:
I am completing a Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY-1) general pharmacy residency at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy
PGY1 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
What's next:
I plan to complete a Postgraduate Year 2 (PGY-2) pharmacy residency in infectious diseases and become a board-certified infectious disease pharmacist (BCIDP). After my training is complete I plan to work in a hospital as an infectious disease pharmacist and work with physicians to treat patients with infections.
