Natchez High School Choir makes their debut performance Sunday, September 15

Natchez High School 15 member ensemble performed for the first time this school year at the 4th Annual Prayer and Praise Service hosted by Pastor Birdon Mitchell and Mrs. Debra Mitchell. The choir is under the direction of Mr. Tony Fields. With a rich musical past, his love for school choir music has been rekindled after 15 years. Fields serves as music director for Zion Chapel AME Church. He also directs the community youth choir for the Back to School Explosion hosted each year by Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. The choirs' performance was outstanding. “It is a testament to the gift of music these students have,” said Fields.

The Natchez-Adams School District would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Pastor Mitchell, Mrs. Debra Mitchell and the Zion Chapel A.M.E. church family for their love, support, and hospitality. Services like yours help to build school pride by allowing us to come together. It creates a bond between our athletes that spans the course of a lifetime. With sincere gratitude, we again say thanks for your support of the Natchez-Adams School District.
