The "Faces and Hands" photography exhibit was created in the Digital Media Technology Program at Fallin Career and Technology Center. Students in the program shot the photographs and edited them at Fallin. They were advised by G. Mark LaFrancis, teaching artist supported by the Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education, a statewide non-profit organization placing artists of various disciplines in Mississippi schools.
With the project, students had to demonstrate skills in light and shadow, portraiture, creativity, and photo editing.
The exhibit will be displayed through the end of July at the Judge George W. Armstrong Library, 220 S. Commerce St., Natchez. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
